An Alaskan congressman and his wife repeatedly spent campaign funds on hunting trips, chartered flights costing thousands of dollars, personal dinners and dry-cleaning, according to a former aide.
Representative Don Young and his wife, Lu, splurged $17,000 on one flight and routinely made flights to their second home using contributors’ cash, revealed documents released by the FBI.
