Those who have an interest in the upcoming trial of Schaeffer Cox and his militia cohorts, to begin in Anchorage, Alaska on May 7th, 2012, may want to follow the trial of the Hutaree Militia contingent currently in progress in Michigan, as the Hutaree trial could be a precursor to the federal strategy in the Schaeffer Cox trial. While a jury of 12 primaries and four alternates, made up of nine women and seven men and including four Blacks, has already been selected, the Hutaree trial begins in earnest on February 13th with opening statements by the prosecution and the defense. The trial is expected to last up to eight weeks.
