America needs a president who will do what needs to be done

I don’t want a president who will adhere to the conservative line. And I certainly don’t want a president who will adhere to the liberal line. I want, as Garrison Keillor might put it, a president who will do what needs to be done.

Preferably the next person to work in the Oval Office will be an individual guided by conservative principles who will use those as well as his or her innate intelligence – and the best advice available to this nation’s leader to decide what America needs and make those things the goals of the new administration.
