As Reudrich Replaced, Tension Surrounds Republican Party Convention

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — As longtime state Republican Party Chair Randy Reudrich moved toward the end of his tenure Saturday, dramatic events surrounded a convention where an apparent Ron Paul supporter will replace him.

Russ Millette and Debbie Brown were elected as the incoming chair and vice chair hours after Paul supporters apologized for an outburst during Murkowski's Fri. night speech.
