So You Want a Say In Who the Republican Presidential Nominee Will Be? Here's How...

The Northern Right
By Catkin Kilcher Burton

In 2012, the course of our nation will be determined. While lesser objectives include wresting control of the Senate back from the Democratic Party, our main objective as a unified party must be to replace the current occupant of the White House and replace him with a Republican. With that in mind, it is also incumbent upon us to keep our local mission and objectives in mind so as not to lose our focus among the chattering, speculation and pitching decks of American politics.

Significant next steps for Alaskans include preparation for the Alaska State Republican convention in Anchorage (April 27-29), and the Republican National Convention in Tampa Bay (Aug 27-31) all of which culminate in the national election in November. But before any of these notable events, Alaskan Republicans will first identify who our preferred nominee will be via the Presidential Preference Poll (PPP) on March 6.

Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

Should we care who the GOP canidate is? Should we care who is in the White House, the Senate or the Congress? We need JOBS, not hot air about how "MY" party is the best party.

I like Huntsman. Some complain about him beliefs in global climate change and speaking Chinese. Like I say, I like Huntsman.
