FAIRBANKS — The National Park Service may be the agency getting the most attention for its sometimes-contentious relations with Alaskans, but Rep. Don Young believes the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service also is deserving of attention for its behavior.
Young, R-Alaska, met with the federal agency’s chief law enforcement officer, William Woody, Friday to relay some concerns.
“Before this meeting it was hard for me to be anything but skeptical of the Fish and Wildlife Service,” Young said in a news release after the meeting.
