Assembly members look to address public health concerns

Representatives from Covenant House Alaska and the Assembly met Tuesday to discuss public health priorities in light of impending budget cuts.

“There’s been confusion over government and private roles in public health” Pat Senner, CHA nurse practitioner, said. “We’re trying to get the Assembly to visualize what its role is in public health and make sure it’s properly funded.”
